want to update from there to woody.  a sources.list file in the /etc/apt/
dir should be updated to reflect this desired change.

#sources.list
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian woody main contrib
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US woody/non-US main contrib

Then you must run apt-get update.  This will update your package info to
the latest woody info.  doing a apt-get dist-upgrade will then update all
of your packages.
