While this is correct, it should also be pointed out that there's no reason to interact with the guest using the host's screen reader, you'd use the guest's screen reader for that. Unlike another virtualization technology under windows, ad far as virtualbox goes, the host screen reader won't get in the guest's way (I.E. if you're running a windows guest under a windows host in virtualbox when virtualbox has keyboard control, key strokes meant for the guest's screen reader won't get captured by the host's screen reader). I personally am a happy user of virtualbox under windows interfacing with the guest directly, and under gnu/linux, interfacing with the guest over vrdp on a headless host.
