Hi. Try adding softvol=1 to your ~/.mplayer/config file. That should tell mplayer to use the soft mixer instead of the hardware mixer. Aside from the long explaination, it seems when I turn down the volume on the media player, the master volume goes down, too. Is there a way to make it where they have separate volume settings so that it won't affect speakup? > > > Thanks, > Tyler Littlefield > http://tds-solutions.net > Twitter: sorressean > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
