New audio editor available

Hi all,

Today I am releasing version 0.1.1 of edway, a line oriented audio file
editor and audio tool. It is a successor to wedit in many ways, with a
unique design. It is very accessible.

Edway relies on a set of helper programs for many of its functions,
such as mplayer, lame, soc, etc. You can download the source package
from my web site (see below), or visit the edway blog site (see below).

Users of archlinux will be able to obtain a packaged version from the
Arch Users Repository, my thanks to Chris Brannon for his invaluable
assistance with this and other matters as well.

I hope I can be forgiven if I describe edway as like wedit, but without
all the "flaws."

There are a few planned features not yet implemented, but a sufficient
set of capabilities is available to make it a useful tool in this, its
first release.

Feedback welcome,

Chuck
