If we assume that, along with assuming your kernel source is in /usr/src/linux-2.6.27, then in your /lib/modules/2.6.27 directory, there should be a symbolic link called build, which points to /usr/src/linux-2.6.27. On my system, it looks like this: ls -l /lib/modules/2.6.29.6/build lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 2009-10-22 13:27 /lib/modules/2.6.29.6/build - -> /usr/src/linux-2.6.29.6 Hth.
