Hi William, I can understand the security implications as you outline them. Personally, whatever I've needed to copy from a text console has been easy enough to handle via xclip. I certainly don't need to do this sort of thing every day. It almost seems to me to be more trouble than it's worth. Maybe someone with a more frequent need for this sort of integration could give us a different perspective? Best, Zack.
