Cursor tracking and laptops?

No, not the Speakup+z key.. I'm talking of the FN-key, which is in most 
cases located 
right from the left control key.
Holding this key and using the keys arround "j, k, l" "u, i, o" etc, 
emulates the keystrokes of the numpad.
