That won't help with selecting a voice with Espeak. The way to select a voice when using Espeak with the Espeakup software is to start Espeakup with the "-V" parameter. For example "espeakup -V us-english," will start with the US English voice. Unfortunately, there is no way of changing voices within Speakup yet when using Espeak and Espeakup.
