-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 Yes, my CD images I downloaded yesterday worked on my good box. I can't get it to work on my laptop however. I can't tell if the initrd is at fault or if there just isn't enough memory in my lap to run this. It only has 32 MB <sigh> but I can run Slackware on it. Maybe I just had better stick to slackware on my laptop. Slackware has always prided itself in being able to run on lower grade machines. I like Debian on my big machine so wanted to move it onto my other machines but it falls over on my laptop. I dunno if there is anything I can do to make this happen or not. Actually, would it be possible to get speakup into the text installer instead? maybe the text installer would have a better chance to run on my low grade laptop.
