Tyler, There are examples of bash scripts everywhere, but many of them are tricky, not simple. Also, there is a humungous man page for bash, also not much fun to read. However, bash has a nice online help system. Just type help at a prompt and see what you can find out. Then if you want info about a particular bash command, such as while, for, test, exit, or whatever, help commandname Start simple and complexify only if you have to.
