There was a while a long time ago when the TrippleTalk firmware had a bad version of the Doubletalk software and the interrogate command didn't work. After speaking with Randy he fixed it and Access Solutions put out an update which fixed the problem. The serial Trippletalk with a serial cable works just fine using the speakup_ltlk driver.
