I'm not experienced with Debian Stable so dunno what versions of gnome and related packages are with the stable distro though. I'm using Slackware along with Dropline Gnome and am able to use Orca version 2.20.2 from that distro. Now I use svn to move up to the latest unstable releases of Orca and related projects.
