Hello everyone, I'm starting to get pretty p*55ed now. I spent 5 hours at school with a UNIX / Linux administrator updating ubuntu 6.06 to Ubuntu edgy. We installed speech-dispatcher, speechd-up and espeak and found that speech-dispatcher did not start automatically and when invoked manually said it had failed to start. What's missing here? I'm about ready to drop Unix all together and stick with Windows. Please help, I beg of you.
