Hi List: I have an old machine that has an old DoubleTalk ISA card in it. I've been trying to load the FC2 install off the first CD. It boots fine, because when I type in text speakup_synth=dtlk and hit enter, the CD spins up. But the DoubleTalk does not begin to talk. So my question is, is there a way to test the card to see if it works? I don't have another machine to put it in unfortunately. With an external synth, I would just boot a DOS boot disk and echo a statement to the serial port it was on, but I'm not sure how to go about this with an internal ISA card. Thanks in advance.
