obvious question but...?

It seems to accept cookies but not allow them to be persistent.  In
other words, you should have no trouble on a site that says that cookies
must be enabled, but you won't be able to save your Google preferences,
since this requires a cookie be saved on the hard drive, and l i n k s
only saves them in memory for the current session.
