I am a HAM, N0YJV.
You can use your call sign from where ever it came from, and it doesn't
matter if the number in the sign matches your residence.

Hi all. Last I knew there were still a few Hams hanging around, but not sure
as of right now. Does anyone know if one is required to live in the state in
which they take their license exam? If
so, is the resulting call sign issued by the visiting state or one's 'home
state'? Based on the information I currently have one does not have to
reside in the state where they take a
Technition-class license test for example? Thanks!
