The 2.6.x kernels don't use ide-scsi emulation anymore, so you refer to your ide burner by it's actual device name (I.E. dev=/dev/hdd). Yes, you'll still get the error message, but ignore it, and everything should go just fine. The same holds true for dvdrtools.
