It seems that there is a fairly large corporation who holds a monopoly on all the .com, .net and .org domains on the internet, and they sell them to a bunch of resellers. The problem is that the reseller that seems to have the lowest price I could find is spending millions on advertizing, and therefore I would be paying more than if they didn't advertize so much. Does anyone know of anyone who can give me the closest to the wholesale price for a domain name for 3 or more years? I am not looking to pay $9 or more a year to buy something from a reseller who advertises during the Superbowl spending $30 million or more per spot.
