last question for a bit apt broke

The only thing I can tell you is to make sure that your
/etc/apt/sources.list is in order. If you don't know if what you see
is in order or not, or if you know that it isn't in order, but don't
know how to fix it, have a look at the sources.list(5) man page. If
the mirrors you're using now aren't working for you for whatever
reason, have a look at the mirrors list section of the debian site.
