Speckup-enabled debian etch

Hi won't it be easier to just use sarge and change the sources list to
testing or unstable then do apt-get update 
And then do apt-get  upgrade 
Just my thoughts.
There is a cd version of sarge with out having to muck about with the hole
floppy thing.
