Some issues with the ibmtts output module of speech-dispatcher

I am unable to duplicate this crash.  I tried ? and  ?.  I suspect that 
problem is specific to the IBMTTS voice that is being used.  Which voice are 
you using?  Unfortunately, I have only English voice available to me.
