-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The netinst Sarge you have is bootable using the following command line at the boot prompt: speakup26 speakup_synth=dectlk As far as I know, there is no time limit on the Speakup-modified Debian boot prompt, so just type that command line when your CD stops spinning. This version does support Realtek network cards, as that is the card in my computer. I personally found the Debian installer for Sarge to be a little easier to deal with than Fedora; Your mileage may vary. The easiest way to install Debian is to install the base system only and then apt-get install anything you need that you don't have as you need it. That way if you don't want x you don't get it. This is different from Fedora, where the best course of action seemed to be to just install everything and then change the runlevel later. A: In the United States you can't buy anything for zlotys and in Poland you can't either, while in the U.S. you can get whatever you want for dollars, just as you can in Poland. -- being told in Poland, 1987 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFExs0JG9IpekrhBfIRAocRAJ41Y4lR96DI7kbXwponVQ5/r6iw4wCeLrXN LQa2ATomzQkhngBi3VGql/E= =Kadn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
