ok i have had trplayer running slack 10.0 and 10.2 as well as redhat 9 fedora core 1 and most likly more. to get installed under slackware 10.2 first download the slackware package of trplayer from the linux-speakup.org site next make shore you have not got any other versions of real player installed if you have not installed it sence you installed slackware then you do not have it. so now go to ftp.linux-speakup.org with your trusty ftp client and download the real player 8 rpm file the direct url to the file is ftp://ftp.linux-speakup.org/pub/linux/goodies/RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.rpm once you download this file do rpm2tgz RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.rpm after a few secks you will get a prompt now as root do installpkg RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.tgz installpkg trplayer.tgz when you get your prompt again everything is installed and you can remove RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.rpm, RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.tgz, and trplayer.tgz make shore your mixer is set up ok and it should work also note that the trplayer.tgz can also be found in the same folder as the RealPlayer-8.0-1.i386.rpm file on the ftp server James Dosman
