The only way I know of to determine your outside IP address is to connect to the router's built-in web server and try and find where it is in its menus. Otherwise, you could connect to some server which shows your current IP address. As far as your Linux machine is concerned, your IP address is whatever your router gives it, and it has no knowledge of the NAT that the router is doing.
