Hello Keith: As Douglas Adams was fond of saying "don't panick". Have you checked your punctuation mode? Speakup comes by default with punctuation set to some not all. Have you checked to see if the characters which are not being spoken are showing up on the screen with your review keys? Have you read the speakup users guide?
