I have 2 questions. What is the proper syntax for tar to un-archive a tar.gz file. The second one is I was trying to use rpm to install a package and got the error that it needslibldap.so2 needed. Do I have to set some kind of environment variable or what ever fedora calls it to let rpm know where all of that stuff is?
