What about a double talk lt? I have access to a double talk external. Can I use this as a speech synth to get speech during the installation of linux? I eventually want to experiment with gnome. Does it matter which distribution I get that will work with both speak up and gnome and gnopernicus? -----Original Message----- From: speakup-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-bounces at braille.uwo.ca] On Behalf Of Kirk Reiser Sent: Monday, March 07, 2005 3:01 PM To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux. I don't believe you will be able to use the DECTalk PC to install linux because it needs to be loaded as a module because of its need of having software loaded at boot time.
