someone from another mailing list I'm on warned me to not quote the full email addresses of people when I send mail to the list. This individual stated that spammers use addresses from list archives to spam people. Is this a real problem and is there information on how to properly filter address display for lists in mutt or pine? Obviously, something would have to show up in the headers of a message for the mail to be sent.
