Look at the debian security manual. They discuss this. Think of executing script from the shell source file. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Igor Gueths" <igueths@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Sunday, July 24, 2005 8:30 AM Subject: hidden typescript? > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA512 > > Hi all. I've been trying to do this just to see if its actually possible, however no luck as of yet. I'm attempting to set a user's login shell to a script, which then executes script -f > somefile. However, that didn't work as I thought it was going to. My next idea was to place a script within the homedir tree, owned by Root that would execute the script command line. Only > problem with that is that it would effectively start up a new shell. Anyone have any more ideas I may not be thinking of? It would be fairly interesting if I actually got this working.
