I've begun using the screen terminal program and have tweaked my .screenrc to start several screens with particular applications when screen is invoked. Very nice. However, I cannot figure out how to pass the various bash aliases I define in my .bash to my screen sessions. I can't just put: alias x=y in my .screenrc. That gives me command unknown. But, once in scren, I can define aliases by hand, and they do work. Does anyone know how to pass them via the .screenrc? I have not found documentation about this. -- Janina Sajka Phone: +1.202.494.7040 Partner, Capital Accessibility LLC http://www.CapitalAccessibility.Com Bringing the Owasys 22C screenless cell phone to the U.S. and Canada.
