Thanks Chuck. and, taking this a step further and simpler, for other stations I have now tried that are streamaudio, you can do: mplayer -playlist http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx and then append your station call letters all in caps then an underscore sign and am in caps and .asx For example: mplayer -playlist http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/CFMJ_AM.asx Also just did it with an fm station and of course you just use _FM instead of _AM. Don't know if there may be other files that aren't asx that you could reach.
