I've been attempting to get the Slackware 10.1 ISO's and having an
awful time with BitTorrent breaking my network connections. What
seems to happen is after starting btlaunchmanycurses.py slackware, The
client takes off and the four downloads get underway and things are
lookin' pretty good. In fact, I've seen between 400 and 500 k per
second on the total speed column. Well, this carries on for some
while and later examination reveals 0 speed counts and my machine
being completely unreachable by pings from or to this machine. The
only thing I've been able to do is do a 'rc.inet1 stop' brief pause
followed by 'rc.inet1 start' to resume the ability to ping and
magically bittorrent is going again.

Does anyone have a clue what might be happening here? I've never run
into this loss of communication until I ran bittorrent using the new
Slackware torrents. I'm current running a 2.6.9 kernel under the
Slackware 10.0 environment.
