-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Already tried that. If just sending a single command like atdt for example, chat comes back right away, and the modem doesn't go off hook. If using a script that is a send/expect sequence, chat just hangs there until I kill it. The modem works perfectly fine in minicom though. So, I suspect I'll need to use a c/c++ program to initialize and setup the serial port, and pass it to chat to talk to the modem that way. I'll need to think some more on what the best approach for the whole program would be. Greg On Tue, Sep 07, 2004 at 12:15:52AM -0600, Joseph C.
