I was asking, as I kind of know several UNIX editors and I don't want to waste time mastering one that causes problems with speakup. So are people saying then, that there's nothing I can adjust on my console; that my only choice is to upgrade speakup. I was hoping to avoid this until I learned a little more. --Debee
