good audio editors

Speaking of additional features:

1.)	I'd love to be able to scrub -- forward and back with the right and left arrows, while adjusting the scrub increment up and down with those arrows.

2.)	The .wav header doesn't seem to be rewritten correctly after a file is split in two. At least I've had some apps complain that the .wav file was improper and refuse to play it.
