One that comes to mind is Sun Solaris ----- which there is a port of yasr for it, and of course gnopernicus and the gnome 2.4 desktop will run on Solaris. I've also noticed FreeBSD has a port of gnopernicus and festival with their gnome 2.4 ports as well as a friend of mine uses FreeBSD with yasr so you can use other Unix flavors, but just not with speakup.
