hi, no, this is a via ac'97 audio controler. So I am assumming that linux is using dribers spacifically for that card. I hope i am correct on that. I am totally used to windows and can't figure anything out here. You can add some modprobe commands to load those modules on boot. Or, depending on the system, adding entries to /etc/modules.conf for sound can make the modules load automatically.
