Fedora install again

Well, I downloaded the latest Fedora, and it froze before entering the set
up screen.
This is the same behavior as before, where it halted, but if I did not call
up SpeakUp, it went through the install, but I did not have speech at all.
What would cause this?
It does find my DecTalk, and I hear all of the BIOS memory addressing, but
that is it, it freezes.
I don't get any error either.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
