-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all. Just recently, I figured out how to get into the bios on this machine, and was able to change the parallel port mode. However, I think I am basically screwed on this whole thing because it seems the port does not support ECP, and I figured out through a working laptop that that's the propper mode for the Blazer to comprehend the input. In further digging, I also discovered the following in dmesg: parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778) [PCSPP,TRISTATE,EPP] Judging from that output, would I be correct in assuming that this port only supports modes PCSPP, TRISTATE, and EPP? Because if so, I will never be able to print to the blazer using this motherboard anyway. Unless there is perhaps a newer version of the Blazer's firmware that does support EPP? The current version I am using is the August 20, 1993 revision.
