Hi, again. Just an idea. To start gnopernicus i am using alt+f2 keys. But at the moment i don't have any sighted person around to look and see if this combination works. So i'd better explain how i set up gnome. After installing all gnome packages from the second Slackware CD i copied to my home directory the /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.gnome file as ~/.xinitrc. After running the 'startx' command i see a lot of gnome related stuff in my home directory so i can conclude that at least i have gnome up and running. But i don't know where can i look for all key combinations available in gnome. Thank you all for your patience, Sergei. >>>>> "SF" == Sergei Fleytin <fleytin at mail.ru> writes: SF> Hello, Gregory, Yes, i run test-speech and it worked fine except SF> that it didn't see the mbrola voice wich i installed for Festival.
