On disk 1 of the Slackware CD set there is a directory called
"kernels" in which there is a directory for each supplied
precompiled kernel. In "kernels/speakup.s" you will find what you
are looking for.


To see your network card chip set, you might find it using
"lspci", perhaps with -v, perhaps even with -v twice.
