Hi folks, I am taking the big plunge and am working on getting the latest version of RedHat installed on my laptop. I have downloaded the three Shrike iso images and have burned each image to a CDR. When I boot up my laptop with CD 1 in the CD-ROM drive, the CD spins up, but as far as I can ascertain the Linux boot screen does not appear. Instead, my computer boots right up into Windows. My guess is that the BIOS needs to be set, but I'm not entirely certain if this is the case. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate them. My apologies if this has been brought up on this list before. If this is the case, feel free to reply to me privately. Thanks, Steve Stephen Clower, that guy from the south.
