Installing Debian

Hello,

I need to install Debian on a Dell Inspiron 8200, using speakup, and am
wondering what the best way is.

The rescue and root disks on the Speakup site are for Debian 3.0 (Woody) but (I
think) are not in sync with the latest 3.0 release. Is it possible to
use them with an install of 3.0R2?

I've read that Speakup-enabled kernel images are
available in Sarge betas. Is this method reliable enough to be useful?

Suggestions are much appreciated.

Chris
