Well, the problem here is the trplayer part. Trplayer is at this point incompatible with Mandrake 9.x. Everytime I install the rpm trplayer segfaults, crashes, and dies. When trying to compile it tells me I need an sdk which I can not find. Anyone, know what all I need to recompile trplayer for a modern Linux os, and where to find the realplayer sdk or whatever it was it needs? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Moore" <christopher.h.moore@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Thursday, April 15, 2004 3:07 PM Subject: Re: Converting real media to mp3. > Tom, > I've done this using a combination of > vsound, trplayer and lame. vsound captures the raw output from trplayer > which is piped into lame for mp3 encoding. > > Chris > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup >
