Hi all, Well I had to go back to redhat Advanced server 2.1 and on a pc with only 1 serial port. I am severly tied to my braille display, so I need to use the serial port for that. My challenge is getting speakup working through the on-board soundmax audio subsystem. I have 2 questions: 1. How are things progressing towards being able to use the sound card rather than an external synth? 2. Where do I start trying to figure out how to patch a 2.4.9-e3 kernel with speakup?
