Hi Did you make sure you compiled your drive's filesystem into the kernel? For instance if your drive is ext3, you need ext3 in the kernel, not as a module. Same goes for ext2 or reiserfs. If you're not sure which one your drive uses, you can safely compile all 3 in the kernel and refine it later.
