There is a preliminary cd image of a speakup enabled knoppix disk in incoming if folks want to download it and burn it to cd. It needs large 80 minute or better cdr's to fit on. John Covici has put it together and there are a few problems but not bad for a first attempt. I've used it twice now. There are a few caveats to know before you use it so if you are serious about burning an image correspond with John and get the details.
