Hi all! Until now I've being developping under Windows platform using Jaws. Now I am interested in learn linux and as I usually program in java, I would like to continue to do my work but under linux this time.
I downloaded and installed zipspeak and it is running with bns.
Does any one have some ideas about:
1) where can I find a good introduction to linux?
2) Does any one already compiled and ran a java program under zipspeak?
3) Where can I find a program editor or tool that runs under linux? I use Eclipse but it uses graphical interface so I guess speak-up won't work with it. Am I right?
4) Just a genral question: If I understood right, Linux has many graphical interfaces but if an appplication was written under one it will not work under another. So, depending on the graphical interface you were using you will have more or less applications.
    Thanks, Alexandre.
