Well from my .config I see # CONFIG_NTFS_FS is not set # CONFIG_NTFS_RW is not set So I believe though I do not have it configured it is in the stock kernel. It is just experimental and no distro wants to be the one responsible for trashing the ntfs disks on a server b/c they use possibly buggy drivers.
