Well, this may not be related to Emacs, but I have seen on some UNIX and Linux systems that the Backspace function does not work properly. Sometimes this is global across all applications, but it can be confined to a local environment. In any event, what is required is to press CTRL-H to backspace something. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jude DaShiell" <jdashiel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <djgpp at delorie.com> Cc: <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2003 6:20 PM Subject: backspacing in emacs question > Is anything unusual done with the cursor in current version of emacs when > backspace key is used? > > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
